The Story "Lather and Nothing Else" Shows You Should Listen To Your Own Ideas
I think that the barber should have killed the captain but it turns out in the end that the captain was testing the barber if he was going to kill him or not. Although I say that the barber should have killed the captain in the end like the barber said himself, his enemies are going to hunt him down until they find and hang him. I used to have fights with my sister and when she did something very rude to me I would tell my mom but if my mom didn't do anything then I would steal something from my sister's things to make it even.
I am a middle child and I usually don’t get all the attention, which I am fine with but that leaves me to make my own choices which can be very hard. For example, I play the piano and I need to practice every day. I also choose which piece of music I want to play, but choosing the piece of music is very hard because I don’t want it to be too long but I don’t want it to be too short. When I find a piece of music that is the right length, I also have to see if it is famous or not because if it is not famous then people will not know what I am playing and that will not be fun for the audience.
I make decisions every day. For example, if my friend asks me if he can have my candy I would say no but I am a very empathetic person so after that I would say yes. I think about it this way. If a decision will hurt you then don’t do it but if that decision does something good for others and does not hurt you then you should do it.
In conclusion, you should listen to yourself because if you choose to do something that others tell you to do then their choice might be a bad choice, but if you make the decision with your own gut then you will have confidence that it is right.
